Easy Garlic Mashed Potatoes

  • 4 medPotato, flesh and skin, raw
  • 3 cloveGarlic, raw
  • 3/4 cupSoup, chicken broth, canned, prepared with equal volume water, commercial
  • 1 dashTable Salt
  • 1 dashBlack Pepper


1. Place potatoes in heavy, medium sauce pot.

2. Add garlic and salt, cover with cold water. Bring to boil.

3. Cook 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.

4. Drain potatoes and garlic well.

5. Add broth and mash together.

6. Stir in butter. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
